Laser Cutting & Engraving

We have Large Bed CO2 Lasers (1200mm x 900mm) which allow for large or small projects.

CO2 Lasers are able to cut a wide variety of materials very precisely by burning, melting or vaporizing the material using a CAD (Computer Aided Design) file to guide it.

Good material selection can influence the design and finish of the product which our consultants will help you with every step of the way.

A CO2 Laser can cut all types of wood and acrylic up to 12mm thickness, as well as card and most fabrics. They won't cut metals, stone or glass.

These Lasers can Engrave all woods, slate, metal (with use of thermal paste), acrylic, glass, marble, stone and mirror

CNC Routing

Here at Laser Monkey we have Large Bed 3-Axis CNC Routers (1300mm x 2500mm).

This is a computer-controlled cutting machine which can cut various materials up to thicknesses of 300mm. It performs many carpentry functions similar to a panel saw, spindle moulder and boring machine as well as being able to cut mortises and tenons.

There is huge scope for a variety of effects with this machine from a basic, 2D profile cut to a 3D prism . Routers enable us to incorporate thicker materials into designs as well as being able to create deeper patterns and engraving .

CNC Routers cut all woods, plastics and Aluminium .

We stock a wide variety of materials here on site in various thicknesses. If there is something we don't have we can order in for you from our range of suppliers. All materials we use are FSC certified.
